1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the website at securepermitpros.com or engaging any services provided by SecurePermitPros ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Provided

SecurePermitPros offers the following professional services:

• Remote Online Notary (RON): Certified remote online notarization services conducted via secure audio-visual technology in compliance with Ohio law.
• Permit Filing: Preparation and submission of permit applications to the appropriate Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) on behalf of clients.
• Permit Expediting: Follow-up and coordination with AHJs to facilitate timely permit approvals.
• Online Loan Signing: Remote notarization and signing agent services for real estate closings, including purchases, refinances, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, and commercial transactions.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information required to perform the requested service
• Present a valid, government-issued photo ID for notary services as required by Ohio law
• Ensure all documents submitted for permit filing are accurate and complete
• Respond promptly to requests for additional information or documentation
• Pay all applicable fees as agreed upon prior to service delivery

5. Fees and Payment

Service fees are outlined on our Fee Schedule page and communicated prior to service engagement. All fees are due as agreed. We reserve the right to update our fee schedule at any time with reasonable notice.

Permit filing and expediting fees are quote-based and depend on the type of permit, jurisdiction, and scope of work. A quote will be provided before any work begins.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made prior to the commencement of services. Once work has begun — including submission of permit applications or initiation of a notary session — fees may not be refundable.

7. Scope of Services — Limitations

SecurePermitPros acts as a permit runner and expediter, not as a licensed contractor, architect, or engineer. We do not:

• Provide legal, architectural, or engineering advice
• Guarantee permit approval by any AHJ
• Accept responsibility for delays caused by the AHJ, incomplete client-provided documentation, or factors outside our control

For notary services, we act solely as a commissioned Ohio Notary Public. We do not provide legal advice and do not verify the accuracy or legality of the documents we notarize.

8. Errors & Omissions Insurance

SecurePermitPros carries Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance with coverage up to $100,000. This coverage applies to professional errors made in the course of our services and does not cover client-provided inaccuracies or third-party actions.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of SecurePermitPros and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services and website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SecurePermitPros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Ohio.
